To Sleep, Perchance to Dream...
All the comforts of home...and then some, await you at the O'Neil House Bed & Breakfast, a 19-room Tudor
mansion in Akron, Ohio.   Leave your cares at the door, then come in and sit by the fire. (There are six working fireplaces here.)  Play the grand piano in the formal living room. There's plenty of space, so you can wander to your heart's content.   Even the private rooms are furnished to accent the history of a home rich with tradition.

Make Yourself at Home
Once home to the family of William O'Neil, founder of The General Tire Company, this opulent mansion has taken on the personality of its new owner, your host, Gayle Johnson. Elegant yet unpretentious, the manor offers gracious living in a grand, Old-World style.   An architectural treasure, the O'Neil House was designed by Meade and Hamilton and built in 1923.  Hand carved linen-fold oak paneling adorns the grand foyer, leaded windows grace nearly every room, vibrant Oriental rugs warm planked oak floors throughout.

But this is no museum, so make yourself at home.

Personal service and a responsive staff are always nearby to make sure you enjoy a comfortable stay.  Our

goal is to make your time with us feel like a visit with a dear friend.
